Helmet Hair? That's your solution!

Posted by Allthatiwant on

I commute to work by bike, but especially in the summer it's a little bit annoying to arrive all sweaty. I also tend to get really bad helmet hair from wearing a bicycle helmet. Wearing a helmet is necessary, but I am also a girl and I HATE having helmet hair.

So I was looking for a solution and good news, I found one: hair powder! It's easy to apply and brings your helmet ruined hair back in shape right away. Just sprinkle a teaspoon full of powder in your hand, rub it in your hair and brush it out. Taddaaaa… and your hair is back in shape.

I am using Alder Natural Hair Powder . It's made with rice powder, kaolin clay, organic horsetail powder, essential oils and is a much healthier alternative to regular baby powder. So it won't leave your hair white. I am not sure how it works with black hair (since I have reddish hair) but for lighter hair it's the perfect solution. The hair powder is available in eucalyptus and bergamot, which leaves a fresh and clean smell in your hair.

Please let us know, if you have more great tips to read the impact of your helmet on your lovely locks and we are happy to share them.
